North Sichuan Medical University (NSMU) was founded in Nanchong, Sichuan Province, China, in 1951. It is a government-supported institution and the region’s second-largest higher education hub. It has over 15,000 undergraduate and postgraduate students from around the country and around the world.

MBBS Admission to NSMU (North Sichuan Medical University)

To qualify for the five years MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery) program, applicants must fill out and submit an online application. Apart from basic qualifications such as portraits, passports, and copies of 12th Standard marks cards, applicants must be in good health and have no criminal records, be between the ages of 18 age and 25 age, have a good command of the English language, and have good scores (75 percent) in premedical studies. Other requirements, such as a health certificate, may be required for visa approval.

The academic year usually begins in September or October, with the first semester ending in January and exams beginning in February. During the first two years, students get to build on their foundation. North Sichuan Medical University (NSMU) charges a basic tuition fee of RMB 28,000 per year. Depending on the type of accommodation selected, annual costs, except food, maybe as high as RMB 33,000, which includes a hostel, visa, and insurance fees.
